Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the MAWU Energy website, consultation forms, solar education content, and quote coordination resources. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

Effective date: July 9, 2026

1. MAWU Energy services

MAWU Energy helps homeowners evaluate solar panels, battery backup, financing paths, and quote next steps. MAWU Energy is a consultation and coordination company. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, MAWU Energy does not act as your electric utility, tax advisor, lender, equipment manufacturer, or in-house installation contractor.

2. Website information is educational

Website content is provided for general informational purposes. Solar production, savings, backup capacity, equipment availability, interconnection timelines, utility programs, net metering, tax incentives, and financing options vary by home, utility territory, usage, credit profile, program availability, and project review. Content on this website is not engineering, legal, tax, financial, or utility advice.

3. Quotes, estimates, and project assumptions

  • Initial consultations and estimates are not final offers, final designs, or guaranteed savings calculations.
  • Final system size, price, equipment, production expectations, battery capacity, payment terms, installation schedule, and warranty terms require written project documents.
  • Solar performance depends on roof condition, orientation, shading, weather, utility rates, household usage, equipment, maintenance, interconnection approval, and other factors outside MAWU Energy control.
  • Any incentive, rebate, tax credit, or financing reference is subject to eligibility, program rules, approval, tax circumstances, and changes in law or policy.

4. Homeowner responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact, utility, energy usage, roof, property, and project information.
  • Review all proposals, contracts, financing documents, warranty terms, utility applications, and disclosures before signing.
  • Confirm whether solar, battery backup, financing, or incentives fit your household budget, property, tax situation, and long-term plans.
  • Maintain access to the property and cooperate with any site survey, permitting, engineering, utility, or installation steps if you choose to move forward with a project.

5. Communications and SMS terms

By submitting a request and providing consent, you agree to receive calls, emails, and SMS messages from MAWU Energy about your solar consultation request, home energy options, appointment scheduling, and follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. SMS opt-in consent is not sold, rented, released, distributed, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
